Just a general "does anyone know" question here.
The VAG 1.9TDi PD engine has the oil filter located at the top of the engine, in a canister under the engine cover.
Does anyone know if the 2.0TDi PD (or even the CR engine) has the same arrangement? I assume it does, but wanted to see if anyone knew for sure.
I like this arrangement as it makes home servicing so much easier.
I want to recommend a VAG TDi to my Mother as I'd like to be able to do quick oil changes/services for her with the minimum of fuss and mess - so this info will help in setting the field of models to choose from. She's after a diesel to replace her FIAT Multipla diesel which is ageing and becoming troublesome (she's quite a high mileage sort of girl).
