Government announces new toll road - Crankcase
And right on my doorstep too. I'm sure I'll be able to avoid paying a toll to get to work though. I hope!

I thought I paid road tax for travelling on roads.

Nice swerve to charge us twice.

It already costs £45 to do Kettering to Norwich, it would have to be pretty cheap for me to not start going via Kings Lynn instead, since its no further in miles and barely ten mins longer.

Sorry to disappoint you FoR but you don't pay a road tax. That was abolished in 1937.
You pay a duty based on emissions.

Still, it doesn't make it any more palatable knowing we could all be paying for the use of roads in the form of tolls as well as through general and local taxation.

I'd pay NOT to go near Kings Lynn.
