Name that car contest. - Zero
Today, on a gloriously sunny day, I went train chasing. Having snapped my choo choo, I literally bumped into a classic and enthusiasts car rally at the local boozer where I was filming.

I have loads of good shots to load up, that you can see later, but first, before I do, here is three of the cars for you to name.

One of them is tough I think. One may fool you.

The first one is a Maserati Kyalami.

Easy one down, two to go.

Red one is a Fiat Dino

Yep Fiat Dino Spyder. The second one is a a Triumph - not sure of the model.

Is the second one a BCW (British Coach Works) MG TD?

The MG 'look a like', looks like a kit car. 1967 registration plate on something that is meant to look older and wheels too wide for a car of that vintage.
Name that car contest. - Armel Coussine
No. It's an MG TF, last of the vintage-style line before the MGA. So there.

No it's a replica built on a Triumph Herald chassis

Was going to say, I think, and I can't say why, but there's something about that MG which doesn't ring true. I think it's a kit car.

That's my view as well, although I don't exactly what.
The windscreen surround looks very crude and too square for a real MG TF and maybe the radiator grille comes from another model.

Ok two correct, and you are all hovering around the edges of the correct answer for the third ( I will be very strict about maker and model name) there are two more (5 in total) for you to name.

The MG is, I think, a JBA Falcon.

>>I will be very strict about maker and model name.

The chances of anyone here knowing without a little bit of Googling are very, very small so I don't feel too guilty about being a spoilsport and telling you it is a RMB Gentry.

But "It now has a Suzuki Alto 1100 engine with Honda Fire blade carbs and 5 pic micro computers running a Vehicle Area Network (early cam bus wiring system) and Megajolt ignition system."

Not quite what you expect from an MGTF lookalike!

I thought MG TF... my uncle had one but sold it to someone in Madeira (or somewhere similar). The buyer had is own car museum in the hotel basement and paid for the shipping.

But I'm not sure like others on here.

Is the MG replica an NG TD or NG TF?
Is the '5876D' a Jenson 541?
Is the yellow one a Trident Clipper?

The yellow one is an Alfa Romeo GT Junior Zagato.
Name that car contest. - L'escargot
>> I literally bumped into a classic and enthusiasts car rally ............

I hope it wasn't really "literally", otherwise there may have been some damage done to either car or person.
