Old Fashioned Policing Makes a Comeback. - R.P.
Making progress across the Island on Sunday evening (on the way back from the flicks or Pics as I've heard some people refer to them around here) - marking a stately pace along an unlit section of the A55 in the V40, when we were overtaken by Peugeot - must have pulling around a ton if not more, as it disappeared into the middle distance, suddenly to out offside and off the road came a short burst of blue lights (turns out to be a patrol car parked up in a hard standing) - it was enough to remind us both of the prevailing speed limit. Good way to deal with stuff...
