Inaccuracies in Apple Maps could be "life-threatening" to motorists in Australia's searing heat, police have warned.

Couldn't happen to a nicer company.

The principle problem with having a marketing genius control freak with an unhealthy case of OCD singlehandedly driving a failing company to unprecedented success by being involved personally with almost every facet of that company's operations, is the inevitable slide when said marketing genius control freak with an unhealthy case of OCD is no longer around.
Apple's best days are behind it. This is the beginning of the slide. It won't collapse tomorrow, and will always have its devoted customers but quite simply Jobs was a genius without whom Apple would have continued to be a struggling, leftfield, slightly obscure multimedia company.
Which it will be again. Impossible? Five years ago, the idea that RIM would be where they are today would have been laughed at. It is a fickle industry.
Ask yourself if Jobs would have allowed an OS release with such a glaring problem, or at the very least not twisted the resulting poor publicity in his favour in his own inimitable way.
