seems a helluva lot of effort to go to to for carrying 3 dogs.
Wonder how often the car would have been that much quicker than the equivalent van?
Zero could replace the Lancer .....

Its an ex cop dog unit car, note there is no mileage on it? probably got 200k+

Seems to wear its miles well.

Yeah I gathered that, the secret is in the sellers details.............
But it doesn't look like a run of the mill carrier, looks custom made for the car at a lot of effort .
And why would a car that can carry two people have a carrier for 3 dogs?

Because it will have had two or three police dogs in it and two coppers max.
Probably west midlands police, it will have had one dog handler and two dogs, a Shepherd or Malinois for biting people, and a springer for drugs, firearms and money searches. It will have had two dogs in it for 12 hours a day, needs to be able to be hosed out, and have air con, so the back is custom fitted out of fibreglass - standard police practice. A dog box thrown in the boot wont cut it.

Still seems a lot of car for the money.

It does but it has no rear seats, Its never going to be suitable as a family car. Fast van maybe

Is the thing on the roof some sort of vent / fan thing?
And those two big rectangular holes in the radiator grille are crying out for some 1970's Hella fogs with grilles on them :)

Yup. Has a fan.
|
So time for some imagination - other than an animal carrier, what could the car and its cages be used for??
|
Fast food delivery.
Curries in one compartment, chinese in another.
And.......errr........hotdogs in the third.
