Cylinder head weld repair - Number_Cruncher
Please can anyone recommend a company who can do weld repairs to aluminium alloy cylinder heads in the Midlands?

If I were in civilization, I would take it to Lockstitch in Rochdale.

Sorry, I haven't posted this in Technical, as the insistence on make / model is a royal PITA, and simply isn't relevant in this case.

Try T & L Engineering just outside Bedford www.vintage-engine.net

They were well regarded for miles around when I worked in the trade in Beds 20 years ago, and a look at their website seems to show they're still as good now.

For future reference, just select any old car, etc from the drop down boxes (and other compulsory) boxes) and one of us mods will come along later and edit it accordingly.

In this particular case though, your question probably has been asked in the correct place.

I've used them before, found them very helpful and knowledgeable.

They're on my doorstep if I can be of any help.

Thank you all - I have managed to find a new cylinder head, so, I don't need to try a weld repair after all.
