 Driving in Morocco - mikeyb
Will be travelling to Morocco on business next month. Anyone have any experience of hiring a car and driving over there, or is it easier to just use taxis?

Depends where you are going and where you want to go.

Taxis and tours are so cheap its probably not worth the aggro of hiring a car.

The driving is pretty chaotic out there, so unless you have gained your pilots wings in somewhere like Naples, I would suggest you might get overwhelmed.

Use a taxi , but make sure you agree a fare before you get in ........

Yes, always negotiate the fare first. But I agree that unless you're staying a long time it's better to use taxis. The driver will know the way to places and with luck you will find an agreeable one you can hire by the day. Anyway it's like that in some places.
