How much would it cost to buy and fit the above? Any ideas anyone?

I would guess parts £600-£750 plus fitting plus oil

There must be lots of used parts available - the LSDs were fitted to a lot of imports IIRC. Might be tricky getting the right one but there must be an enthusiast forum for them.

I bet a new LSD is a lot more than £750.

I think my pal's 2.8 diesel Shogun LWB (about '98) has a diff lock, not LSD.
