ON line motor factors - Baz
Hi All
I shall probably need to source a brake caliper for the Corolla shortly. There are dozens of on-line brokers when I search on Google. Any personal recommendations for decent suppliers from our members please?
Thanks.

I've had good service from Euro car parts but, I like to use genuine OE parts on my Subaru and there are sellers on the Bay who specialise in Jap parts so I tend to use them.

I use Euro Car parts, never had an issue, EXCEPT dont buy the cheapest bits they offer, quality tends to be patchy. Had some badly fitting air filters for example, but the branded stuff, (pagid - cross land etc is ok)

Be careful with branded stuff on ebay, there are a lot of fakes out there and it can be hard to spot unless you're handling the parts regularly. The same applies to back street motor factors too.

Some people just don't care what they are selling and just want to make some quick £££.

I agree with Zero, (shock, horror), I use Euro Car Parts or Car Parts 4 Less, (same outfit), and known brands. Not had a problem

Euro, GSF or locally and in person Parrs.

This is where I've sourced a few Jap bits from - they seem 'genuine' enough ;)

I have used these people before

Some surprisingly good prices on O/E parts and well known names too.

Euro Car Parts bought the Crosland name from Sogefi (Coopers, Fram, Purflux) but ONLY the name. ECP could be putting any kind of quality filter in a Crosland box. Be warned.....

I used www.mister-auto.co.uk/en/about-us.html
for my Audi control arms, much cheaper than Eurocarparts for these arms Lemforder/TRW etc...but not for filters. The bits come from France, so factor ~5 days for delivery.

Yes, most of the cheap ECP brands are from India. e.g. Allied Nipon, Guttmann, Crosland. The cheap QX oil is Onix from Netherlands.
