 FIAT 500 - Headlights - BobbyG
A Fiat 500 was behind me on the motorway today and, as you know, they have DRLs in the form of a round light just under the bumper.

A car signalled to come off a sliproad behind me and in front of them so Fiat flashed it to come on - however it was the DRL light that flashed as opposed to the headlights.

Anyone on here got a 500? Does the DRL have a dim/dip bulb in it? It certainly didn't seem to be a blinding full beam light that came out it but it was certainly a brighter flash than the standard running light.?

The headlamp flash is, indeed, within the DRL unit. The DRLs can be turned on or off via a menu option on the instrument panel. When selected, they dim when the headlamps are turned on.
