Up to £150m in fines given to motorists for traffic offences may have been unlawful

In the last three years about 1.5 million motorists have been fined £120 for not obeying the "moving" traffic signs.

London is not a cheap place to err :-)

Breach of process Mapmaker - if the "authorities" can't get it right awfully bad show to punish others in other words two wrongs don't make a right.

My new local authority in Wales can't get speed limit orders right for the umpteenth time which has cost the local tax payers a fortune in re-payments and admin. In my opinion the useless twerp responsible should be first in the line come redundancy time. But I doubt whether he will be...

I'm well aware, PU...

But in my old age, I'm rather coming to the view that people should pay what they're supposed to pay. A sort of universal purposive contruction rather than strict adherence to the wording of statute.
