Not every driver but a lot of them do. I met up with some colleagues from Kazan recently and they were saying it is a very good idea to have them because of the high number of accidents. Some of which are deliberate I believe.

I keep mine on all the time now. You can also have a butchers at your own driving now and again...especially if you've made a booboo of something. I'm going to try it on the bike...MOT tomorrow....although I'm not confident of the sucker staying on the curved screen very long...if at all.

One of the Russky vids has a youth crossing the road on a pedestrian crossing. When he gets in front of the stationary camera car, he throws himself onto the bonnet and rolls off writhing in agony on the crossing. The driver looks at him and points to his dashcam..........the ' victim ' slinks off !

Good protection for yourself for not many quids !
