The earlier (non-prototypes) ate best looking. The later ones slightly less so.

I like #4,#8,#9 best - #7 is iffy. I disagree with the comment on the last picture - I am glad tha tit did not make it into production. It's horrid.

I'm sure it'll loose them with the vibration.

It's bland boring euro-tat of the lowest order, compared to the magical "zing" of the originals.

Well, that's certainly different.
Why not just find an old Escort, get a few sheets of plastic, hack 'em about with a machete until they look approximately like a car, bolt on the bits of Escort - et voila! you have your Dutton Phaeton.

It's a Wallis & Steevens Simplicity roller. I'd have that, given the choice.
