Farmer converts car into sheep dog - VxFan
A farmer has spent £2,000 converting his family car (no, it wasn't a Rover) into a giant dog.
He built it as a tribute to his favourite sheepdog which had recently died.
He drives "Floss" around his 180-acre farm to round up flock of sheep.
But has now reluctantly put "Floss" up for sale as she is now too big for his gates.

tinyurl.com/knkdb3x - Daily Wail, but other similar rags also reporting it.

Some people are just barking mad ;)

EDIT - And if anyone wants to buy it

How come it's NOW too big for the farm gates, when it wasn't before?

Probably because of the added fur and wooden frame.

I'd have been more impressed if he'd converted a sheepdog into a car..............a Pug perhaps ?

Old cars have been doing some of the more mundane aspects of guarding sheep for years.

Some farmers will put one in a field full of sheep around lambing time to deter foxes; specifically, they'll park the car in the field for a few days, then spend a couple of evenings hiding in the car with a rifle and knock off the odd fox as they're entitled to. They then put the sheep in the field and I am assured that word apparently gets round the local fox community as the sheep are left in peace for a while.

Lamas are supposed to be good too. They like sheep, but hate foxes, and aggressively patrol the field attacking any fox that dares enter.
