How many miles have the tyres done? If they are still like new it would seem a shame to have to replace it. When I had a nail in my Corsa tyre I just replaced it because it was only £45.00 and it was down to 3mm. Reply to this message | Report message

Thankfully my Contentental Eco 3s are only £50 each. It is one of advantage of steel wheels. Still a lot of money though, I know when this happened to be my Corsa I was quiet upset about it. Reply to this message | Report message

It's fixed. I had two options, The small commercial tyre guy round the back of Kwik Fit or KF. The commercial tyre guy would patch the tyre for a tenner, and has done for me in the past. KF would do a "proper" repair with a mushroom plug for £19. I opted for KF as it is a virtually new tyre. Reply to this message | Report message
