Right in the middle of my tyre, should be repairable, but not under the 7 year warranty. :-)

How many miles have the tyres done? If they are still like new it would seem a shame to have to replace it. When I had a nail in my Corsa tyre I just replaced it because it was only £45.00 and it was down to 3mm.

4,500, new tyre about £120.

Thats far too difficult for this time of the morning. :-)

My car does not have any plasterboard bodywork either, it looks like a plastrerboard screw. TBC later this morning after the repair.

Lucky it isn't a Veyron! Punctures can't be repaired, tyres have to be replaced in pairs = £24k for two!
 The inconvenient screw. - Bellboy
who says they cant be repaired?
everythings repairable within reason
it just depends who,m you believe surely shirly?
The inconvenient screw. - Perky Penguin
Michelin, who make the tyres, say they can't be repaired.

I assure you my Michelin will be repaired, even if it is only a £120 tyre.

On most automatic 4 wheel drives, a puncture can need all 4 tyres changing!
 The inconvenient screw. - Bellboy
so one gets a puncture and the nice man in the overalls puffs his chest in and says 4 new tyres guv or your diff gets it eh
yer right
 The inconvenient screw. - rtj70
BB I think that is what is suggested.
 The inconvenient screw. - Bellboy
nice work if you can get it isnt it :-)
now i wonder what happens to the other 3 mint casings?
 The inconvenient screw. - RattleandSmoke
Thankfully my Contentental Eco 3s are only £50 each. It is one of advantage of steel wheels. Still a lot of money though, I know when this happened to be my Corsa I was quiet upset about it.
 The inconvenient screw. - Bellboy
so a 135 x13 is now £50
jees i used to pay £6 trade for these

Typical car dealer, glad it's repairable. :-)
 The inconvenient screw. - RattleandSmoke
Its not 135, its more like 160 70 13.
 The inconvenient screw. - Notdoctorchris
Actually, they are 155/80 R13.
If you fit Uniroyal RainExpert they are £27 plus fitting.

It's fixed. I had two options, The small commercial tyre guy round the back of Kwik Fit or KF. The commercial tyre guy would patch the tyre for a tenner, and has done for me in the past. KF would do a "proper" repair with a mushroom plug for £19. I opted for KF as it is a virtually new tyre.
