I was looking at the traffic situation for Kingston upon Thames and the kind Google people supplied some local views of Richmond upon Thames.
Any other towns that have lost their identity ?

You will have to accept that they have reacted promptly after I emailed them this morning suggesting a correction.
Hardly a fantastic choice of photos I did not immediately recognise the church so found it in the remote back streets on a map. The first kings of England were not crowned there.
A great photo of.....the railway bridge.
N.B The second photo is a thumbnail of the previous large image of Richmond upon Thames.
Could try harder !!!
