Hot air, indeed, FT. Especially balmy (or should that be...?) is the breeze from Madam Safe Speed:

“How is driving in an environmentally unfriendly manner posing a danger to other road users?"

Well, none - if those road users are from another planet. Perhaps that's Safe Speed's problem.
