Saw this in the Independent last night - absolutely shocking!!! .. I had 'im down as brown bread.
Glad to hear he's still drawing breath.

Shouldn't be too hard tracing the car, providing it wasn't nicked. The number plate is just visible for a couple of seconds (11 to 12 secs into the clip) prior to being obscured by the horizontal metal beam protruding from the wall.

I saw or heard somewhere last night that two had been arrested for Motoring offences and one for perverting, possibly the mother of one of the scroats.

From the Wail

A 31-year-old man from Brighton was arrested on Tuesday after trying to hide on a roof in Donald Hall Road in the seaside town, and was detained on suspicion of dangerous driving causing serious injury, attempting to pervert the course of justice and aggravated vehicle taking, Sussex Police said.
A 56-year-old woman, also from the town, was held on suspicion of attempting to pervert the course of justice. Both are in custody.

Not much sign of anyone doing much to help in those photos, One bloke appearing to be taking a picture and the other just standing around.

Nobody thinking to to actually check if the victim is still breathing.

Probably no one knew what to do. Shows the value of first aid courses

Coincidentally St John Ambulance staff knocked on the door the other evening looking for funds.
They stated that they want first aid courses to be taught in all schools.

Can't really argue with that. A sensible move that would certainly save lives.

Nope can't do that, only so much time in the curriculum, and room has to be made for mandatory holocaust education

"and room has to be made for mandatory holocaust education"

My wife is 62 and due to retire from teaching in a rural independent school in July ('thank goodness', she says). She had to do a 'spot the potential terrorist' course a couple of weeks ago.

Plenty of people have no idea what to do.
