Not mine but daughter's boyfriend's. Advertised on here but got no bites.

It'll be taxed from Sunday and reading the other, similar thread got me thinking it might be worth dropping the price below the psychological £2000 barrier, so I thought I'd ask you lot for your opinion before placing any adverts.

I expect Bb pushes these out by the bucketful.

Vauxhall Corsa, 2002 1.2 SXI, 3-door, 5-speed manual, 33,000 miles, MOT 07/11.

Looking on Autotrader, it should go at your price - the only similar "private" one is £1,750, and that's got horrible "privacy glass" which must knock the price down a bit, and a dent in the roof. All the others are dearer than £2,200.

Your car's very low mileage will possibly be viewed as suspicious. Is this another car that's a horrible colour?

Advertising "on here" has probably a very slim chance of making a sale.

Well, it went today for the full asking price. Thanks to Marc for the heads-up on Pistonheads.

I received a £1700 offer immediately it went on there, sight unseen.

The first potential buyer turned up in a Hummer and 'phoned me from the road outside my house to announce he'd arrived! Had a quick look round and offered £2000. Had to be a dealer I thought and that encouraged me to stick out for the full asking price.

The next to see it bought it after a half-hearted attempt to knock £100 quid off. They turned up on a 'bike and accepted my offer of a brew, I'd just mashed a pot. A pleasant couple who wanted all the V5 and MOT details for an HPI check I assume. They left a £100 deposit and agreed to a transfer in a Post Office tomorrow.

Great news,
I think its all about persistance and presentation you see adds on Autotrader and ebay and think I am just not interested half the info is missing, poor photos and to high a price you see the same cars month after month. There is an art to selling anything and some people have it and some don't.
