Jaguar - "Hedge Fund" ups value from £855 to £XX,000 - Falkirk Bairn
E-Type found in a hedge after nearly 50 years, 3 owners a Series 1, 3.8 ltr with under 50K on the clock bought by last owner in 1967 for £855.

Needs some TLC but even in its current state it is worth 10's of thousands!!!

>>E-Type found in a hedge

Complete lie. That has not been out in the open for fifty years. And the vendor is supplying log book etc. so it was known about.

Underneath a hedge and a tarpaulin, it would seem. Sounds more plausible.

A friend who lives in Southern Ireland and who has a very large garden leading down to the sea shore, decided to clear a thickly overgrown brambly area near the shore a couple of years ago. He found a little sailing dinghy in the middle of it. Didn't know it was there and he'd lived in that house for nearly 20 years. Boat was remarkably ok. He uses it now sometimes.

Sold for £57,900.

I passed a parked, tatty 1965 C-reg E-type on the school run this morning. Never seen it before, it was outside a proper old-fashioned village garage so goodness knows what they're planning to do with it.
