I published a longish piece on driverless cars in New Left Review some ten or fifteen years ago, and I think posted it here, 'The Driverless Road' or some such title.

Times have moved on a bit but it's still worth a look, in my biased opinion.

Quite right Manatee, published in NLR only three years ago. 'Prototype Boulevard' is the title.

There was another piece on cars published in 2002. Duh...
