Story was picked up on the Radio 4 PM programme this evening. Eddie Mair had a 5+ minute interview with a beekeeper from Beverley who'd been called out to help. He explained that bees had found their way into the car's structure, particularly voids that formed part of the crumple zones. Quite a challenge to winkle the out.

Worth a listen, occurred immediately after 17:30 nes summary so approx half an hour in.
