Retro fit electric Porsche 911 - Crankcase
I hope it's not annoying to folk to keep putting up EV stuff? I guess those interested could just find ths kind of stuff themselves, so if this isn't a good place for it all, say so and I'll refrain.

But assuming it's actually of interest to one or two, here's Fully Charged on a Porsche 911 that been taken to the dark side. Still mighty quick, 200 mile range. They don't mention the price, but it included a ground up restoration, apparently.

Would you buy such a thing if it were commercially available? Do we need more aspirational EVs and not just sensible boxes?

This is a motoring forum. It's absolutely the place. If you're not interested in EV's then skip the thread. Not difficult.

A bit more interesting than a Leaf or Prius though it's sacrilege frankly.

Hopefully the flat 6 has gone to good use.
