Passed a large car on motorway today - didnt know what it is.
Only way I can describe it was it appeared to be sort of Audi A7 / Superb size, not sure if it was a saloon or hatchback, but the rear lights were shaped the same as these brackets [ ].
ie at each side there were two horizontals joined by a vertical on the edge of the car.
No sign of any badges either!
Anyone get it from that description???

It wasn't a prototype with strange angular decals was it?
|
Tesla?
Or one of those new VW Arthurs?
|
Nope, none of them!
It was a 17 plate, maybe my dashcam will have caught the registration and I can feed it into a webpage to find out what it was.
|
Based on size / shape my immediate thought was Tesla as well, though I can’t picture the rear light on the Model S
|
>>Was it one of these??
Possibly!!
No actually cant see it on there either!

That's a favourite Skoda look.
Could be the Kodiaq which is a SUV thingy: tinyurl.com/yakmw6mv and www.skoda-auto.com/SiteCollectionImages/models/kodiaq/overview/kodiaq-6reasons-background.jpg
The Octavia has very definite bracketed lights: tinyurl.com/yd8az7pu

Ok, replayed my dashcam and even though it was 3 lanes away in stop start traffic I managed to read the registration plate and have now identified the car.
Either my description was poor or the people on here who will know this havent been on today but the answer is
A new Volvo S90 as in
goo.gl/images/U7bHiC
And to save my credibility (a bit) the rear of the car was totally de-badged!
