 Metropolitan Police - Bobby
Just saw a tweet from them with a video clip showing that they have tactics to deal with moped and scooter crime.
Video shows a selection of clips showing the riders getting knocked of their bikes by the police cars.

Seems to be a tactical change from the “do not pursue” tactics?

That's a fairly strong arm tactic and I guess last resort but there are some awful crimes being perpetrated using them.

I remember one of the police programmes featuring a pursuit in London where's the rider was knocked off and subsequently died. Massive backlash from the family and friends but eventually the inevitable inquiry cleared the police. I suppose that's be seen as a whitewash.

Part of the problem is that the perpetrators knew that by using a scooter/bike (most if any are not mopeds) that they would not get chased.

Good. Massive problems with diversity down there. Time to get real tough. Pretty much every other country's Police knocks them off.
