...buy a good one, rather than a project.

In auction today - 1967 Jaguar 340. £80,000 spent on restoration, estimate £24,000-£28,000.

OK, if you want to spend years in the garage doing it yourself you can save a lot of money, but if you just want a fully-fettled car, then buy one in the first place.

For the price it realised you could have an almost new 440i convertible like what my friend bought a few weeks ago.
