Just a follow up from today's Manchester Evening News.
You remember the thread on HJ about Mohammed Patel, who was sent down for faking rear enders on the A34 and other places.

Investigation into the seizure of his assets has revealed no assets at all. He is thought to have earned £46.000 from his enterprise.

He has been ordered to pay reparations of ONE POUND !!!

Who says crime doesn't pay ?

Well, he did get 4 and a half years in prison which (if he earned £46,000) works out to about 10 grand a year.

He could have probably gotten the same working in McDonalds, going down the pub, sleeping in his own bed and feeling completely at ease whilst showering - so maybe it doesn't pay that well.

As for the money, maybe he bought GM stock...
