I realise it's very niche at the moment, but I just re-discovered some material I'd previously read on Vehicle to Grid technology, which is here now, and I thought some on here might be interested to know about it.
It's where the EV battery is used as an input to the grid, and IMO it's quite clever, although as various articles point out, it could result in shorter battery life. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vehicle-to-grid
