 21 Plate - Timeonmyhands
My understanding is that the 1st March registration number is the year and 1st October is the year plus fifty, ie 20 and 70 this year.
Saw a guy in a petrol station today with a brand new Vespa scooter on a 21 plate. I know you can preorder plates but this seemed a bit premature.

Lexmoto have my bike reg as 23 on their online records. I've pointed out a couple of times that it is wrong, but they have never altered it despite saying they would correct it. Maybe I should ask for a trade in quote?

I've seen a couple of '20' reg vehicles and couldn't understand why. I guess some folk couldn't add one to '69'?

Unless I’m missing something, I’m sure they can. They’re the ‘70’ plates you see - September 2020 until end Feb 2021. 20 plate cars were registered March to end August 2020. Though you didn’t see many initially as dealers were closed due to lockdown. But I’ve certainly seen plenty of them since things opened up again...
