Got some really nice road surfaces out of it - where the track ran - but whether it was the rain, politics, or money that killed it is up for grabs.

By "donuts", do you mean the marks made by twits[1] on the surfaces of some roads or supermarket car-parks?

[1] Or, likely, car thieves.

I thought most tyre marks made in car parks were from people attending late night car cruises.
