"Fleet News" publishes list of most reliable fleet cars. Here is their top ten:
BMW 3 Series
Honda Accord
Audi A4
Nissan Qashqai
BMW 1 Series
Ford Fiesta
Mercedes-Benz C-Class
Toyota Avensis
Honda Civic
Volkswagen Golf

BMW 1 series is a fleet car????
|
Well, fairly ship like ,so why not? I imagine female employees would be well impresssed with any BMW*.
(* anti BMW,sexist comment.)
|
BMW 1 series were cheaper to lease than Focus...no brainer really.
|
When I changed in March BMW CO2 and thus BiK numbers were very good, far better than the mainstream Ford / Vauxhall of similar size, and the depreciation helps as well. For me it was also a no brainer, better car, less money out.
|
Interesting that two most common fleet cars namely Vauxhall Astra and Ford Focus are not in list!

Because they are not the two most common fleet cars.
For fleet drivers, they have no appeal.
|
The Astra and Focus were probably lower down for reliability. After all this is the top ten.
|

Yeah, I agree.
You can always have a 1 series when you retire.

Counting down the days iffy ? :-) Nice reward for a life of hard work...

...Counting down the days iffy ? :-) ...
Days?
I've still got years to count.
We're not all as well set as C4P mods, you know.

Well one advantage of working here is the pension scheme - upon retirement we'll get exactly what we get now !

A ploughman's every six months?
|
No such luck, not even a pickled onion on a stick ! :-)
|
...A ploughman's every six months?...
If I recall, DD didn't get his at the other place and it still rankles with him.
|
Everything rankles with him, he is a bitter man.
Me on the other hand, I am a lager drinker.
|
...I am a lager drinker...
I'm just necking a bottle of Peroni.
Three for a fiver in Asda, but it's the 500ml bottles, not the 660ml they used to sell.
|
"I'm just necking a bottle of Peroni."
A Peroni drinker who drives a ragtop?
How very dare you.
|
...How very dare you...
Wot - drive a rag, I mean tin-top, or drink Peroni?
|

He's a soft shardonnay drinking southerner.
|
Southerner?
Oh dear. You are in trouble now.
|
"drinking southerner"
You've said some rotten things about me but that's just sailing too close to the edge.
Salford born and (white) bread.

...Salford born and (white) bread...
Just had a look at the map, Salford's not even south Manchester, is it?
Allegation withdrawn.
|
Salford is way South of here. :-)

Only available with the Burberry interior. They're pretty rare.
First time I saw a car fridge was on a friend's Chevy Constantia. It had been the official car for the Mayor of Cape Town. Not sure what his official duties included but it was a real party car.

Does a airconditioned glovebox count?
|

Some of us mods aren't as well set as other mods.

Mark took Alan and I out for a drink one night.....
Just the one mind.
|
But who paid for "the one"?? Probably you?
|
It was shared I seem to recall, and only a half.
Only one person could be that tight.
|
Interesting, But what was the car that was most reliable fleet car say in 1990 was it the good old cavalier?
Must have sold more of these as the fleet car than the Sierra the Mondeo was a dream then.
|
>> But who paid for "the one"?? Probably you?
Actually it was Mark. Contrary to rumours, he isn't a tightwad.
