Should you have to pay and your skint at the rear of the airfield where the farmers fields are there's a road at the back that drops down into the village, you can get a real good view at the back for FREE.!! You can even pop down through the fields to get closer!! But not on airshow days as the road is closed miserable police man. :-( Reply to this message | Report message

Well, I think Lotus were testing ok, testing drive through penalties from the sound of it, either that or it was very sick. It was constantly going into pit lane limiter mode, or limp home mode! Still huge noise anyway, it was a nice day very bright but chilly and windy. And you really cant complain if you can wander around and look at such pretty objects like the buccaneer, Comet, VC10, Victor, Vulcan, with the sound of an F1 car ringing in your ears. Good day out.
