Chase on the Dutch M/WAY.He didn't want to stop for speeding and carried on through the German Border.
He got a fine of 3,500 euro they had his registration.

I have yet to hear of a car that can outrun a radio message.

Got off lightly, are the Dutch Government not taking leaves out of the Swiss book these days with their fines?
I think it was maybe gmac on here who got hit with a fine for something silly like 3kph over the limit in Holland?

I once got stopped my a mobile camera unit in Germany for 31 km/h in a 30km/h area.
In fairness though the measured speed was 38km/h minus measurement tolerances (10% + 3km/h) so although officially 31km/h reported speed, my speedo would have been closer to 40km/h.

Seems to me the cops let him get ahead to stop him from going so fast. Both cars top out at around 155mph due to speed limiters. If someone is going that speed and is determined not to stop, what else can they do?

The police did the right thing. The car was heading for the border as soon as he put his foot down.It always gets complicated following a car over the border if a incident occurs.
The police had his registration and his home address.
