Down to Cornwall and back earlier this week. Put the Honda's cruise on and just, well, cruised, at about 85 indicated. The "bearing noise" is rather obvious at this speed, but nothing else of note regarding the car.

However:

Is it normal when driving on the motorway/dual carriageway at night to leave one's headlamps up? A number of people I passed seemed to do just that.

The number of drivers who pull out forcing people passing (not juat at 85 per.) to take evasive action such as braking or switching lanes is disgrceful.

The "courtesy" of pulling out into the middle or outside lane at joining slip roads can be quite dangerous. People should join the motorway correctly, but seem unable to do so.

Signalling by some people is very poor.

Amen.

Many motorists cannot grasp the notion that a slip road is a give way junction.

I often wonder if these same motorists enter roundabouts in the same way.
