After going to the factory for theory and practical and driving tests Ferrari's top technician of 2011 has been announced as Dean Pallett who works at the main dealer in Nottingham. Well done that young man.

After serving a apprenticeship which is inportant. He has done well and congratulations to him.
Bring back apprenticeships and give young people a change in the workplace.

I might have said this before... in a South Wales location a brother of mine ran a business where they were wanting to take on apprentices and train them. They'd have had qualifications such as welding or other related/relevant skills for the business. Few takers. Too many happy to take benefits. This was over twenty years ago too.... little has changed.

Just up a passageway near us, is a small workshop/garage who only looks after Maseratis.
I can't remember seeing a Maserati on the road round here so he must be doing something right if he's attracting trade from further afield.
I used to do occasional recoveries for a one man operator in Prestwich who just specialised in Silver Shadows...made a good living out of it.
I specialised in Ladas........typical !

Is the Maserati 'dealer' not there anymore? There was one in 1999. Of sorts I think.
