Buy Apple seems to be the message....

...although one of the comments points out:
"You forgot to mention that Microsoft also announced Windows Phone 7.8 which brings the features of Windows Phone 8 to Windows Phone 7 devices."
So it might not be as bad as it sounds.

Windows mobile is stiff and dead and will drag nokia down with it. The only feint hop is that MS surface wipes the floor with IPADS, and might make windows mobile fly.

The upgrade to 7.8 is a cosmetic exercise. It doesn't add Phone 8 functionality, it just tarts up 7.5 to look like 8.
An interesting comment I saw on another site was that Microsoft would dearly love to buy Nokia to cover the gaping hole in their mobile strategy.
Depressing the Nokia share price would save them a few bob.

My mobile (Nokia 5800) is now 3+ years old. Interesting, I have recently updated the firmware in it and now I got sat nav free! The new firmware also introduced lots of new features. So, my old phone is now better than ever.
