 Meteor shower - CGNorwich
If it stays fine and you care to venture out at 2.00am you should be rewarded with a fine meteor shower in constellation of Gemini - look out for Pollux

Seen a few around here last couple of evenings....beautiful nights. A crescent moon with the rest of the planet clearly visible - aircraft flying high leaving incandescent vapour trails and a billion stars. No street lighting around here...and an app to identify the stars and planes - what more does a boy want eh ?

I see the Aurora was visible from Northern ireland last week, anyone see it?

As an ignoramus (er, me, not you), could you tell me which direction I should be looking in and at roughly what angle, please? Many thanks...

Many thanks. In an effort to save money, the council are switching the streetlights off earlier, so that should help visibility.

Anyone see it? Alas, it was too cloudy/overcast in central E Anglia.
