Thanks for the heads-up, RP, Wilko's a good man and facing death very bravely. The Canvey Island/Southend area has produced some splendid musicians. Ever seen Snailspace Slim and the Hamsters?

I can't make sense of the footnote on the BBC page, though; it says that "the full interview will be broadcast on Friday 25th February ............". The 25th February is a Monday and 25th Jan (i.e. today) is scheduled to be about painter William Scott. Do you have any more accurate information? Cheers.
