If that had hit us I think that may have been a little too much excitement for one night.

I meant to watch it but forgot. But after seeing the Russian version I can see that it would have been very boring.
Another British failure. Our flying space object passes millions of miles away, almost invisibly, but the Russians manage a spectacular shower, lots of big bangs, and hundreds injured in the fireworks. I suppose ours was managed, safely and bureaucratically by the British Space Agency, while the Russians just let off the whole box full.
