It's just normal erosion though, porous chalk or mixed earth-and-rock cliffs do give way sometimes after long periods of rain especially.

Judging by the commentary in the OP video the fall was expected, the crack had opened visibly or some other change had been noticed.

Not the same as that poor woman here who was killed by a falling cliff not all that long ago. No warning it seems in that case.
