In my job I get sales calls a lot. They seem to get further and further removed from reality.

I had to ask for a translation of this one. Anyone care to guess, before I give the answer, as to what he actually meant?

"I wonder if there are some synergies around the endpoint in your virtualised estate?"

It was something along the lines of

"I wonder if there are some synergies around the endpoint in your virtualised estate?"

"Buh?"

"Sigh. What do you use at your endpoint?"

"What's that with the what now?"

(Speaking slowly for the hard of understanding) "Ok. I mean what anti virus are you running?"

"OH! Well why didn't you.... No thanks. Please do go away."
