We are lucky around here in having a band promoter that can secure top acts for a small venue....last night it was an evening with Andy Kershaw....may have mentioned that I read his book "No Off Switch" last year. Very good night out - spoke from 8.15 to around 11.10 totally captivating night - very informal, his dog Buster wandered around the auditorium during the talk. Not a really great fan before, but worth a tenner of anyone's money. Catch him on his tour if you can.
This promoter has the Squeeze's two front men there in July...already got the tickets..
