 Amusing movie - Armel Coussine
'Dinner for Schmucks', late last night/this morning on BBC1, was quite a funny movie although it wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea (Herself would have disliked it I think).

Unfortunately it 'isn't available on IPlayer' at present. How annoying. Wish I'd recorded it.

Apparently it's an inferior gringo remake of a French original, Le Dîner de Cons. Still not bad though.

There was a similar remake of a French original some years ago. Can't remember title, but it's about a homosexual couple still in the closet being visited by their families, and very funny indeed. .

Le Dîner de Cons is excellent, we think. If you haven't seen it track it down, subtitles and all.

I assume that will get past the swear filter, as it doesn't worry about French slang.

Crikey, that looks shonky quality. How is that even legal? Even the subtitles are weird in a kind of "Google/O-level" way.

However, it does give the idea I guess, so thanks, F, for the link.
