If somebody has AC's email address, could they just drop him an email and check everything is ok please?

He's missed a few days which is unusual.
 Armel - Pat
I noticed that yesterday and dropped him an email, only to find it was bounced back as undeliverable.

He must have a new email address which I don't have.

Pat

Thanks Pat.

Can you try with his registered email Dave? (Or other Mod)

Anybody else? Zero?
 Armel - Zero
>> Anybody else? Zero?

Just sent one off.
 Armel - Dog
I've just emailed him, the email hasn't been returned as undelivered, so we'll see what the day brings.
 Armel - Dutchie
Hope he is ok I would miss him.I don't have his Email address.
 Armel - zippy
+1
 Armel - No FM2R
Well I hope he's just got his typing finger stuck in the vodka bottle, but it is concerning. Its a pity we don't have confidential contact numbers in the profile that only a mod can see.
 Armel - Ted

I'll flirt him a PM through Faecesbook....I've never seen him post there though . He may not use it much.
 Armel - No FM2R
>>He may not use it much.

Have a look at his friends. If one of them is obviously wife / child / neighbour, message them as well.
 Armel - WillDeBeest
According to his profile, he last looked in on Monday evening, so a little less four days ago. Just as clarification for the rest of us, how long is an acceptable break from spouting and reading literate or semi-literate BLX before the Internet presumes we're dead and sends the fire brigade to break down the door?

 Armel - No FM2R
In your case I should think several years would be just fine.

;-) ( I put a smiley, which I hate, so that you can't complain).

In my case 3 days!

Surely we can judge when to be concerned about someone based on their previous habits?

I've always had a soft spot for Lud, he's very much like the unconventional and rebellious Father I lost when I was 11 years old.

.........that's where I get it from.

I do hope he's OK.

I thought about saying 'don't hold your breath' to W de B but then my good upbringing came to the fore:)

Pat
 Armel - WillDeBeest
...and then went out of the window?
 Armel - Pat
But of course.

I feel thankful every day for my rebellious Father, that trait spurred me on to succeed in my ambitions when most said it was impossible, but there is a down side too....:)

Be thankful W de B, at least I know what I should and shouldn't do, a lot of rude people don't!

My Father does that with my Mother, the man is a fool to himself and his longevity.

I cannot tell you how many arguments in our household began with my Father saying to my Mother something along the lines of...

"All I was going to say was xxxxxxx, but I didn't because I knew you'd be angry / upset / annoyed with me"
 Armel - No FM2R
Bit concerned now. Nobody heard anything?
 Armel - Dog
Nope!
 Armel - Dog
Just heard from Lud ...he's had an internet glitch :)
 Armel - Dutchie
Lud needs a good smacking.>:)
 Armel - Dutchie
If everybody is getting concerned have the Mods a Tel number to ring?

Somebody must know Armel's real name.To give people piece of mind please?

Unless he is on holiday and having a good time.
 Armel - Pat
I know his real name but it appears that Dog has heard from him so we'll wait a few days and see if he re-appears.

If not, we'll get the car4play super sleuths on the case:)

Pat
 Armel - zippy
Get the glitch fixed Armel, we are missing you here!

He's dropped enough hints over the years. It doesn't take much searching to find out his identity.
 Armel - Duncan
When he goes, who is going to get that old PT Cruiser?
 Armel - Clk Sec
He's younger than you, Duncan, surely...
 Armel - Duncan

Oy!
 Armel - legacylad
I'm not paying to have his PT transported all the way oop North on a flatbed..
 Armel - Cliff Pope
I expect he is now rewriting his will. Nothing like pretending you have died for sorting out the vultures from the deserving.
 Armel - Skip

Easy access for the oldies when you take them out !
 Armel - Dog
Mayhap AC doth win £93,338,943 on the lottery. Then he really will have Lud's sort of money!
 Armel - crocks
Watch out for the "What shall I replace the Cruiser with?" thread.
 Armel - No FM2R
Did I miss the bit where AC said "thanks for your concern, but I'm fine"?
 Armel - Armel Coussine
>> Did I miss the bit where AC said "thanks for your concern, but I'm fine"?

Yes.
 Armel - No FM2R
I bet you think that "FOC" means "free of charge".
 Armel - Armel Coussine

In another thread though. Not this one.
 Armel - Armel Coussine

I think I said it somewhere. If I didn't, take it as said. I was touched actually.
 Armel - MD
Several here are 'touched'. Glad you're well dear Boy.
 Armel - Duncan
I am just glad that I didn't get lumbered with that crappy old car of his.

Poison chalice, or what?
 Armel - Crankcase
More of a curate's egg, Duncan. Good. In parts.
 Armel - Duncan
I had this really scary nightmare on Saturday night. I woke up with a violent start.

In my dream I was at AC's wake. Mrs C was selling raffle tickets for his car. "Now I know all you C4P boys will want to buy a ticket for Armel's old car", she trilled. "The tickets are only £10 each and it's for Anarchists Anonymous, his favourite charity", she said.

Well, guess what? In my dream I won the pile of crap!

That was when I woke up. I think my heart has stopped pounding now.

AC, don't do it again!

I love that bit - "trilled" is brilliant.

Heh heh... when Herself trills, she is being satirical.

She doesn't like being told she growls. Perhaps it's politer to say she murmurs.

That's a variation of the Italian joke I heard. His widow wants to place notice in the local paper but doesn't want to spend too much.
The message was 'Luigi dead'
The type setter told her she has 6 words all for the same price, she thought and said 'Luigi dead. FIAT Punto for sale'.
 Armel - Cliff Pope

Seconded
 Runfer - Bromptonaut
Seems to be on a prolonged absence too.
 Runfer - Bromptonaut
Spoke too soon - he's been in today....
