How do Amazon Partners’ 1p. books add up economically for the suppliers? P & P is usually £2.80 for the UK, hence total £2.81.

In this connection, a note for the unwary. I find recently that clicking on a 1p version and going to checkout that (in today’s example of Will Self’s The Book of Dave) a much higher-priced version comes up. In this example, the cost from Oxfam Wallingford is £4.74 plus P & P £14.54 or £19.28 total. The price new from Amazon itself is only £11.94.
