Very, its a fantastic score by Francis Monkman, not just the well known title and ending "Taken", the whole soundtrack is a real mix, 10 distinct pieces, of the dramatic, the haunting, the scary, dangerous, upbeat and down beat to match all the mood changes of the film.

The Long Good Friday - Robin O'Reliant
The main character played by Bob Hoskins is said to be based on Freddie Foreman, alleged killer of Frank "Mad Axeman" Mitchell on behalf of the Krays, among many other serious misdeeds.

Not sure about "based on". While Bob Hoskins and "Brown Bread Fred" do look remarkably similar, Freddy was nothing more than a pretty thick hit man, who couldn't organise the proverbial brewery event.

Before he achieved notoriety Foreman had quite a long history of blags on Cash in Transit vans.
