Brownlee bros. Impressive performance, again - henry k
Last night I watched the triathlon
www.bbc.co.uk/sport/triathlon/37402716
A video of the end of the race plus an interesting interview with Alistair.

Jonny appeared to not take enough water along the run.
IIRC the commentator commented about it earlier in the run.
Jonny was staggering along when brother Alistair caught him up, grabbed him and supporting him got him 700m to the finish.
Jonny was still sort of running on auto. Alistair demonstrated that he himself was hardly giving 100% effort prior to that and seemed amazingly fresh at the finish.
Alistairs effort ensured prompt medical attention and just might have saved his brother from a worse outcome.

A hugely impressive double act
A have good friends ( a married couple) who participate in these events, but to a far lower standard .... They are in their mid 50s
Their summer hols this year was walking and kayaking around Norway
I spent a week with them last winter in Spain.... I could easily keep up with the mountain walking, but seeing them swim across the local bay at El Portet, backwards and forwards, like seals in their wet suits, only made me want to drink more rose!
As for their 118 mile bike rides, with 8k ft of ascent...
