The Western view of Mugabe is rather different to how he is perceived in many parts of Africa.

Mugabe is actually very well thought of there and is percieved by many as a sort of founding father of African Independance and held up as as an example of an African standing up to White European aggression.

Difficult though it is us for us to understand often other cultures see things in a very different light to us.


He is looking good or his age insn't the? :-)

Excellent, independent Africa can ask him to use his fortune he stole from his people to fill the gap in UN funding. At the end of the day, the rest of the world pay for the activities of the WHO, so what they think is actually rather important.
