He's best remembered for EastEnders of course, but I really liked him in The Paradise Club, which was fairly short lived (2 seasons IIRC) crime drama, set around a London club run by a couple of brothers from a notorious crime family.

He made a Saab 900 Carlsson look very cool.

I can imagine he was RP. He also served 11 years of a sentence for murder in Germany. Bet the BBC would not have cast him as Dirty Den had they known that.

I'd be surprised if they didn't know that.

Anyway, we all make mistakes, he served his time and a guy's entitled to earn a living. Saves us keeping him in benefits.

He served around only ten years of a life sentence for murdering a German taxi driver. IIRC he served other prison sentences for petty criminal offences.
Sometimes the world's a better place without some people in it.
